Knauf guiding profile (DU)

Knauf guiding profile (DU) based on Knauf boards (GKL, GKLN, GKLNO) is used for the construction of frames for interior partitions, cladding and other structures. As a rule, it serves as a guiding element for a rack profile of the corresponding standard size.

Knauf metal guiding profile (DU) is manufactured in accordance with TU 1121-012-04001508-2011 and is a long-length element made by cold rolling on modern roll-forming equipment from a thin steel strip.

Application 

Knauf metal guiding profiles (DU) are P-shaped and serve as guiding elements for rack-mount profiles, as well as for the arrangement of jumpers between them in the frames of partitions and claddings. 

This profile is used for the construction of frames for interior partitions, claddings and other structures based on Knauf board (GKL, GKLN, GKLNO), Knauf super-board and other board materials. As a rule, it serves as a guiding element for a rack profile of the corresponding standard size.

Installation process 

They are installed by type and size, in a paired manner with PN.

Recommendations 

Cutting points of galvanized profiles do not need corrosion protection.

Advantages 

•  Knauf metal guide profiles are produced with ready-made holes with a diameter of 8 mm in the profile wall, intended for installing dowels, which greatly facilitates the process of fixing the profiles to the supporting base; 
•  If necessary, additional holes for the dowels can be drilled.
•  During the installation of various structures, the increased width of the shelf of the Knauf PN profile (40 mm) greatly facilitates the installation of fastening screws.
•  Knauf profiles are made of high-quality steel with a thickness of 0.6 mm, thus it differs from the profiles of other manufacturers in terms of its sustainability.
